Faithfully Seeking God | The Lighthouse After the Storm

Life’s challenges often test our spirit and resolve. During difficult seasons, waiting on God's promises can feel exhausting and uncertain. Yet, the Apostle Paul's words in Romans 12:12 offer profound guidance: "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."  In a season of waiting it can be difficult to maintain our joy but it's the joy of the Lord that is our strength. So let’s take a moment to look at each instruction to clothe ourselves with strength and anchor ourselves in the word of God.  Joyful in Hope Hope is the anchor for our soul, especially when circumstances seem bleak. Being joyful in hope means trusting that God’s promises are true and that His timing is perfect. It is a future focused heart posture.  Even when we don’t see immediate answers, hope fuels our joy because it is rooted in the certainty of God’s faithfulness.
