Faithfully Seeking God | The Lighthouse After the Storm

  Recently I went shopping and after trying on several different pieces I noticed there’s something deeply satisfying and refreshing about the act of putting on new clothes. In the Bible, it often represents a fresh start, a new identity, or a transformation. New garments can also convey renewal and redemption, as referenced in Zechariah 3:3-5. This passage reminds us of a powerful truth, inviting us to consider what it means to be clothed anew in life. In Zechariah 3, we meet Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, dressed in filthy garments. These garments symbolize sin and shame, and the Lord commands that these clothes be removed and replaced with clean, rich robes.
