What to Do When You Feel Like Giving Up

We all face moments in life when giving up feels like the easiest option. A loved one faces a terminal diagnosis, unexpected lay-offs, challenges with finding stable housing or transportation are real issues that need tangible immediate solutions.  When challenges pile up, hope seems distant, and the weight of discouragement presses hard. But in these moments, leaning on scripture and strengthening your prayer life can offer profound comfort and guidance. Let’s explore how faith can inspire resilience when you feel like quitting.   Remember God’s Strength in Your Weakness  The Bible reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that God’s power is made perfect in weakness. 7 Biblical Ways to Keep Going When Life Is Difficult

Life can throw some pretty tough challenges our way, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or ready to give up. Unemployment in certain areas is rising. In the Bible, it often represents a fresh start, a new identity, or a transformation. New garments can also convey renewal and redemption, as referenced in Zechariah 3:3-5. This passage reminds us of a powerful truth, inviting us to consider what it means to be clothed anew in life. In Zechariah 3, we meet Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, dressed in filthy garments. These garments symbolize sin and shame, and the Lord commands that these clothes be removed and replaced with clean, rich robes. Similarly in our lives, the Lord commands us to repent from our sinful ways and put on His new garments of righteous living.  Zechariah 3: 3-5 reads: “Now Joshua was dressed with filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. He replied to those who were standing before him, ‘Take off his fi...
